A Russian nurse has gone viral under a transparent protective gown for wearing “lingerie” while treating patients with coronavirus after claiming to be “too hot.”

A COVID-19 patient took the shocking photo at a male ward in Tula, south of Russia’s capital Moscow.

According to him the fellow patients had ‘no concerns.’

Reportedly, the unidentified nurse in her 20s told her Tula Regional Clinical Hospital bosses that she did not know the PPE was so open. She also said that she wore the uniform “too hot.”

The hospital chiefs disciplined the nurse for ‘non-compliance with medical clothing standards’ until the regional health ministry also announced that “a disciplinary penalty has been extended to the infectious disease nurse who breached (uniform) standards.”

One patient said that while admitting that there was ‘some embarrassment’ there was no objection from men in the coronavirus ward.

A local Tula News newspaper reader has congratulated the nurse. ‘In this dark , gloomy world at least someone has a sense of humour,’ Sergey Ratnikov said.

A female columnist Marina Astakhova posted: ‘Well done, she has lifted the patients’ mood.’

And Valery Kapnin wrote: ‘Why do you threaten the nurse, you need to pay her back. ‘No-one wants to die when one sees this outfit.’
